  • Responsible for the planning, staffing, implementation, maintenance, oversight, and marketing of all outdoor recreation programs, youth/adult sports camps/leauges, youth/adult enrichment programs, senior programs, and pool maintenance/staffing.
  • Provide 340 sections of more than 100 unique programs each year
  • Manage up to 20 subordinate supervisors and 200 employees/volunteers
  • Developed partnerships with varsity coaches and teams for a dozen different sports camps
  • Led department and advisory board in strategic planning, developed evaluation and reporting process
  • Introduced online program evaluations, recommendations, applications and WebTrac registration
  • Improved department marketing and branding through brochures, newsletters and social media
  • Oversee two outdoor pools which average $6,800 a week in fees and memberships
  • Oversee a swim lesson program that serves 300 participants per 2-week session
  • Overall user satisfaction has increased each summer for the last four years
